A little bit about me

I have more than thirty years experience of teaching primary pupils, formerly as a classroom teacher, and over the last fourteen years as an outdoor educator.

I was for many years an advisory teacher for environmental education with Hertfordshire County Council working as Head of Centre at the Astonbury and Pelham Environment Centres. I am also a very experienced trainer, delivering INSET within the county programme, contributing to workshop sessions at conferences and offering site-specific consultancy to support schools in using their own grounds to deliver an active and motivating curriculum.

Despite many years working in the “Outdoor Classroom”, my enthusiasm is undiminished and I would welcome the opportunity to explore the curricular potential of your school grounds.

"Thanks Sue for a most interesting session in which there was something for everyone
