Learning Through Landscapes, the national school grounds charity, have announced that this years National School Grounds Week will be held from the 11th to the 15th June. The event, which will this year focus on the theme of "Small Steps to Sustainability", has been sponsored by the DfES as part of their "year of action for Sustainable Schools". The whole idea may appear daunting, but Sue will support you all the way so that you can deliver fun, cross-curricular learning opportunities, which allow your pupils to celebrate their school grounds. Sue
is currently available for bookings, both during the week itself -
either hands-on with the pupils or as support for teachers - or in
advance,
to deliver staff training sessions on maximising the
potential of your school grounds. |
