Development of trails

Using a detailed map of your school site - Sue can create this for you if one is not available - it is possible to design a range of orienteering, literacy, numeracy, science or cross-curricular trails to suit different ages and abilities.

Sue will provide all you need to offer your pupils a safe challenge and an opportunity to develop their skills and have fun.

Mini Case Study:
Thorn Grove Primary, Bishop's Stortford

Brief: To develop the curricular potential of the school grounds and to provide staff with the resources to best utilise them.
Result: Developed three trails in school grounds. Two for science/practical maths (KS1 and Lower KS2) and an orienteering trail using bearings for Upper KS2. Staff meeting to train teachers in using the new trails and equipment.
